One Direction Fan fiction "What Makes You Beautiful"

was my first day went to school. My family was just moved in here since two days ago. I was nervous. What would be happened in my new school? Finally the bus school came. I hopped into the bus and I looked for an empty seat. A red hair girl waved at me; “here” she smiled as she patted a seat next to her. I sat down and said thanks. I tried to introduce myself, “I’m Kelly. What’s yours?” She smiled and said, “I’m Valerie, but you can call me Vally.” I saw she had braces. She was beautiful.

My first class was English and luckily Vally’s too. We both walked along the corridor. And she showed me some rooms that we were passing by. Soon we entered the class. I caught an empty seat and I walked to the seat alas a boy took it first before I could. And he smirked at me. I asked Vally during the class, “Who’s that boy?” and she followed my eyes, “He is Liam. He is our school football captain.”

At the break time, I had had a few new pals. And my next class was Geography. I had to go to the class myself. Since Vally didn’t take this class that time. I gasped. I was at the same class with Liam. He was listening to his iPod while I walked by. I took a seat behind him. All of a sudden the teacher asked us to make a group. I knew no one here. So I decided to ask some students there. But I had no group still. I asked Liam since I saw him sitting down and looked carelessly about making a group. I said, “Can I join your group? I haven’t been in any group.” He looked at me, “Me either. Why do we not make a group?” I smiled and nodded. The teacher told about the project and we went to the library instead.

At the library, we started to work on the project. When I wrote something on a paper, Liam asked, “Hey are you the new student?” I stopped writing and answered, “Yes, it’s me.” “Oh can I have your BBM pin? I think we need to discuss more about the project.” He smiled. “Sure here it is.” I gave him my BBM pin. Oh My God! I couldn’t believe this. It’s my first day at school and I had had the football captain’s BBM. While he was busy telling on me about our project, I kept on gazing at him. He looked so cool in that grey hoodie, jeans, and white sneakers.

The bell rang, and the school was over. I was heading home while Vally called me. I stopped and waited for her, “So what is it?” She asked as we continued to walk down the street. “You won’t believe this! I got Liam’s BBM!” I almost freaked out. I could see her eyes almost got out from her head when I told her about it. “You must be kidding me, Kelly. Not all students here can get his BBM. It’s just for his group and his friends.” She told me everything about it, and I told her too how we ended up in the group.

I looked for mom when I was home, and she was at the kitchen with a woman. “Oh you’re home sweetie.” My mom said when she saw me coming into the kitchen, “Sweetie she is Mrs. Payne and Mrs. Payne she is my daughter, Kelly. Kelly, she and her family is living next door.” Mom smiled at me and handed me a glass of orange juice. I drank it and I asked, “Do you have any daughter or son Mrs. Payne?” She answered, “Yes. I have two sons. They are Liam and Bryan. Liam goes to the same school with you. You two have to meet, I think.” Wow today was so perfect. I lived next to Liam. What a miracle. I went upstairs and I was looking down at my new neighbourhood through my window. There I saw Liam got out of his car and opened a door for his friend. She was beautiful. She had long and curly hair. She looked fit to Liam. And I felt upset. Wait, Did I just get jealous on Liam? Did I fall for him? Was it love at the first sight? I shook my head. It might be I was just too tired then I climbed up on my bed and took a nap.

I was woken up since I heard there was a BBM message. It was from Liam. He asked where I lived since he wanted to continue doing our project. I sent him my address and as I thought he surprised. He just realized that I lived next to his house. I went downstairs as I grabbed some drinks in the fridge. I heard a knock on the door and I walked toward the door to open it. There I saw Liam was standing on my door step, and we went to my room instead to do the project.

The next day at school, I told Vally about what happened the day before. She couldn’t even believe that. She said that it looked like it had been set up. I just smiled as I saw the girl who went to Liam’s house yesterday. She walked toward us then she said, “I don’t know who you are. But I warn you to stay away from my boyfriend.” “Your boyfriend? I don’t even know your boyfriend.” She took a step closer to me and said, “Don’t you think when you got the BBM pin, you can flirt on him.”

I just realised that she was Liam’s girlfriend; I thought she was just his friend. I said, “Oh do you mean Liam?” She nodded, I continued, “I don’t flirt on him. Maybe you’re just too possessive.” Vally grabbed my arm instead and pulled to get away from her. “Who’s she?” I asked Vally when we reached at the cafeteria as I pulled out my paper.

“She is Liam’s girlfriend. Well she is the cheerleader captain.” She answered.

“Oh.. The popular couple.” I said as I continued doing my project.

It was the last subject for today, geography. Liam sat down next to my seat, and we still did the project. With my brave-hearted, I asked him, “Liam. Is it true that you give your BBM pin to some people?” he nodded and I asked again, “Why?” He stopped paying attention to the subject and looked at me as he said, “It ain’t your business.” Then he continued to the subject. I was silent during the rest of the class.

I headed to my locker room with Vally. Since mine was across Vally’s. When I put down some of my books into the locker, I felt someone poured some water upon my head. The water was running down through my hair, my face and my t-shirt, but it wasn’t all wet. I turned around to see who done this to me. I saw Liam’s girlfriend who smirked at me as she said, “I’ve told you girl not to flirt on my Boyfriend. Once you didn’t pay attention at what I say, you need to feel what I mean.” She smiled. But then Liam showed up and grabbed his girlfriend’s arm to face him, “What on earth are you doing?” She looked at me then turned to Liam, “I just warn her Liam. Just it.”

“Oh, really? But I saw everything.” He looked into her eyes and turned to me as he started to grab my wrist and said, “Come. Come with me.” I was shocked and I couldn’t say anything. I just followed where he would take me. I looked back and saw his girlfriend called him but he ignored her.

We drove off heading to a park. He bought me a cup of coffee. I sipped it. He said, “I’m sorry about what Emily’s done.” “Oh.. She is Emily. I just knew it. But it’s ok anyway.” “She keeps on bullying people and I start to dislike her.” I turned to him, “Dislike her or dislike what she does?” He stopped a moment then he said, “I don’t know.” We continued talking until it was dusk. He drove me home, when I hopped off of his car; he said, “We drive to school tomorrow. Don’t be late.” I turned around, “We?” he nodded and smiled, “yeah, we. I’ll pick you up.” I took a breath, “Ok. Bye.” “Bye”

After I had supper, I went to my room. I video called with Vally, and I told her about Liam’s invitation for me. “Are you Serious, Kelly?” She shouted and I smirked, “How come? And where did you go after you had fought with Emily?” I answered, “We went to a park and we both had such a nice chit – chat.” “You’d better be careful, girl. I think it’s just her trap for you.” Vally warned me.

In the morning, I got up early. It was about 5 am. It was the earliest time I wake up. I prepared for the clothes. I was confused what I should wear that morning. Finally I picked up a pink long sleeves t-shirt, jeans, and my white sneakers. Since I didn’t want him thought, I was well-prepared. Should I put on a little make up? What about my hair?

While I and my family were having breakfast, someone knocked on the door. “It must be Liam, dad. I gotta go. See you later.” I grabbed my bag as I kissed my mom and dad’s cheek. “Are you going to school with Liam, dear?” My dad asked. I smiled and said, “Yes dad.” I ran toward the door and saw Liam stood there. He smiled, “Are you ready?” I nodded then we went to school.

We arrived at the school and many pair of eyes stared at us. And this was the awkward moment. After Liam parked his car, Emily came and said to Liam angrily, “What did you mean last night Liam? Why are we over?” I shocked. Did it mean they are just broke up? Liam said, “Yes. You’ve known the mean, right?” I could see her eyes were watering when Liam said that.

Liam left her alone then walked into the school and I followed him behind. Soon, I met Vally at the front door, Then I talked to her and let Liam kept on walking to his class, “Did you see what just happened in the parking area?” “Yes, I did. I can’t believe what I see still. You go to school with Liam and he just broke up with Emily. It’s the biggest news in the school. And I bet Emily will look like a mess after what happened to her. Soon you’ll see the real Emily.” “What do you mean?” She told me that Emily put on some make up when she went to school. They were eyeliner, mascara, and many more. I thought it was normal when you used it for hanging out. “Oh My Carrot! Is she going to a high class party?” and we giggled. The bell rang and we went to our class.

Since our project was done, Liam was so quiet. We didn’t go to school together and he never spoke to me, or messaged me on BBM anymore. At the some classes, he took the front seat or in the corner one. I tried to greet him, but he never talked to me, he didn’t even look at me when we met along the corridor. And Vally was right. Emily looked so horrible without her make up. She stressed. Sometimes I glanced at Liam when we were at the break time. There, I sometimes caught Liam stared at me. And the time I caught him, he talked to his friend or looked around instead.

“You’re right, Vally.” I said to her one day when we were at a café. “What do you mean?” She stirred her iced coffee. “I’m just his friend at the project. We never talked since our project was end.” Instead of gave me some opinions, she smirked and said, “Ah.. You like him, don’t you?” I sighed, “I think so.” “By the way, there’s a party coming up, next week. Do you have companion yet?” I shook my head, “I’m not going to the party.” “You have to ask Liam, Kelly. Ask him to go to the party.” She suggested.

For five days I tried to talk to Liam. But it was so hard. He seemed so busy for a couple days. Today was the day and I was sure, I wasn’t going to the party. Even Vally and some of my friends insisted me to go. 8 pm. The party was just been started and I was sitting alone  in my veranda. I hadn’t seen Liam today. I wondered whether he was going or not. When I took a look at Liam’s yard, there was no his car. He might be in the party. I was about to come into the house when I heard someone’s called my name. I turned around and I saw him. He walked and sat on my doorstep. I joined him. He asked, “Why are you not going to the party?” “I’m not in a good mood for going to any party this time. Beside I have to stay at home. My parents are going out of town for two days.” I explained to him, “And what about you? Why are you here?” I asked him, “I thought you were at the party, as I don’t see your car.”

“My car is being used by dad.” Then he took my hands, I looked at him as he said, “I’m sorry for what happened for a couple days ago. I was worried about you; If Emily would bully you again.” I kept on looking at him, he continued, “But now I will look after you, if she bullies you.” I could feel my face was looking like a tomato, “I feel so different when you’re around Kelly. Remember the first time we met?” he asked and I nodded as he continued, “It was the first time I realised, I’m falling in love with you. You’re so different with others. You showed your pure beauty that time without any make up on and I love the way you tied up your hair.” He stopped for a while, “I love you Kelly.” He looked right into my eyes. I blushed and said, “I love you too Liam.” He kissed on my forehead. And that night we made our own party, of course our party was more exciting than the school one.
